FN 66100571: Full-size punch in a compact package with FN's patented Low-Pro le Optics Mounting System and unparalleled modularity of the FN 509 platform, the FN 509 Compact. The pistol is 9mm and striker- red with a 3.7-inch barrel and the capability to accept all higher capacity FN 509 magazines. The patented FN Low-Profile Optics Mounting System accepts nearly all commercial miniature red dot optics and features blackout iron sights that co-witness. The improved controls aggressive serrations aid in manipulation, improved texturing on the two included backstraps provides better recoil management, and a flatter-faced trigger allows for a more controllable trigger press and cleaner break.  This model comes with (1) 12 round magazine and (1) 15 round magazine, each of which contains FN's low friction follower.  It also has a fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release, making this much easier to manipulate by our south paw shooters!
