Galil / Gallant GSM1913 Optic Mount: Use this mount to increase your Galil platform rifle's usability and efficiency by adding your favorite optic. Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and designed to work with all Galil lower receivers with the optic pocket cut out this fantastic new mount installs quickly and locks in tight. Made right here in the U.S.A. We have tested this mount extensively and are extremely happy with its performance so you can be confident that this mount will keep you on target round after round. This unique design fastens securely, resulting in minimal windage error due to its large contact surface which firmly squares the mount to the receiver. No drill, no tap, ready to mount....Just slide the mount base into the optic attachment port on the receiver and tighten the set screws. The top rail on this mount can accept any optic, red dot, or scope using the 1913 Picatinny attachment method or Weaver-style rings and the mount itself features a unique see-thru design that allows access to the open sights as well. We had these mounts specifically designed with our Gallant rifles in mind and they fit them beautifully. Now you can scope up your Galil / Gallant rifle the way the designers of the rifle intended. 

Note - These mounts are designed to fit the original Galil style receiver with the optics port on the forward left side of the receiver. Original Galil receivers and the Gallant model by JRA accept this mount perfectly. However, an optic port based on the original Galil dimensions must be present on the receiver to accept this mount. This mount will not work with smooth-sided aftermarket receivers.
