The Magpul MAG538-FDE is a MOE SL Hand Guard for AR15/M4 firearms, particularly those equipped with a carbine-length gas system and an A2 front sight. Boasting a sleek, cost-effective design, this hand guard features M-LOK accessory slots for maximum modularity and versatility.

This hand guard comes with heat-resistant polymer construction, ensuring operational durability yet foregoing the added weight and cost seen with typical aluminum rail hand guards. It also comes with integral riveted aluminum heat shielding for an extra layer of protection.

Convenience-wise, M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions allow for the easy attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and other direct attach M-LOK accessories. These slots can be utilized for mounting tactical lights, slings, grips, etc., to suit your needs.

Nothing to forget, the hand guard also comes with a large front extension and a lower lip which not only offers protection from the hot front sight assembly but also expands the useable hand guard length. With an easy-to-install design utilizing an existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap, the MOE SL Hand Guard Carbine-Length is a worthy replacement for M4 Carbine-type plastic, two-piece hand guards, requiring only the existing round front hand guard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring.

Keep in mind that this hand guard might not be compatible with piston operated AR platforms and must be used exclusively with triangular A2 front sight assembly, as it is not compatible with other gas blocks. Also, the factory sling swivel is not compatible and must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly if equipped. Proudly made in the USA.
