This excellent hand guard features M-LOK slots positioned at the two, six, and ten o'clock markers, permitting the annexation of supplementary Picatinny rail sections and respective M-LOK accessories. With these, you can attach tactical lights, slings, grips, and more. Designed with user comfort and safety in mind, the large front extension and lower lip protect the user from the heat generated by the front sight assembly while maximizing usable hand guard length for better grip and control.

The MOE SL Hand Guard installation is straightforward and uses the existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap in conjunction with the A2 front sight assembly*. This makes it an ideal and direct substitute for most factory plastic, two-piece, mid-length hand guards. For the proper fitting, both a round front hand guard retaining cap and a rear spring-loaded delta ring are necessary. Please note, this model is not compatible with firearms that have a triangular retaining cap or piston operated AR platforms. Moreover, this hand guard *must only be used with the A2 front sight assembly; other gas blocks are not compatible. Any factory sling swivel attached to the A2 front sight assembly must be removed.
