The Battenfeld 101777 is a Caldwell's Lead Sled Solo Shooting Rest, accentuated by a robust steel construction. This offers a firmly grounded and steady shooting platform. The uniqueness of this rest lies in its offset frame, created to accommodate a range of rifles, including detachable magazine rifles such as the illustrious AR-15 platform as well as lever action guns.
Additionally, the front support is height adjustable and comes covered in a resilient rubberized coating, ensuring your gun isn't scratched or marred. The shooting rest is equipped with an integrated weight tray designed to hold a single 25-pound bag of shot. This, combined with the presence of a heavy-duty spring between the frame members, almost nullifies recoil on non-magnum calibers, whilst significantly reducing recoil on all calibers.
