This RIX Optics STORM S3R V2 is a compact thermal imaging riflescope built around a 384×288, 12 m VOx uncooled sensor paired with a 35 mm F1.0 objective lens and an integrated laser rangefinder. It offers a 3.5× base optical magnification with 1-4× digital zoom, a 50 Hz refresh rate, and a 1920×1080 AMOLED display to provide clear thermal imaging and a usable field of view for varied distances. The scope includes onboard ballistic calculation, supports multiple zeroing profiles, records photos and videos to its internal 64 GB memory, and works with the RIX app for wireless connectivity. Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 battery with support for 5 V USBC external power, and the housing is rated IP67 and designed to mount on Picatinny rails with recoil resistance up to 6000 J. The integrated laser rangefinder in the V2 variant offers a maximum measuring range of 2,187 yards with approximately 1.09yard accuracy.
