It uses a striker-fired, single-action-only mechanism and incorporates Taurus Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) slide cut, which allows direct mounting of RMSc-pattern micro red dot sights. The pistol has a stainless-steel barrel with a black DLC coating, an alloy steel slide treated with a gas nitride finish, and a micro-compact polymer grip module with a steel frame insert for rigidity and durability. This model offers up to 13+1 capacity in 9mm Luger and ships with interchangeable backstrap panels so shooters can adjust grip size and feel. The flat-face trigger, front and rear slide serrations, and the Taurus indexing and recoil management pad on the frame are designed to aid control and fast follow-up shots.
