The Battenfeld 430886R Cleaning Rod utilizes the strength and versatility of carbon fiber, making it ideal for the heavy-duty cleaning requirements of firearms. Carbon fiber effectively marries the key benefits of stainless steel and coated cleaning rods while mitigating their drawbacks. While stainless steel rods can potentially scratch or wear a barrel, they resist the adherence of small, harmful abrasive particles. Conversely, coated rods can protect your barrels from the stainless steel shaft, but they do have a tendency to pick up and retain small abrasive particles.

Carbon fiber rods deliver the perfect solution: they are incapable of scratching your barrel like stainless steel and importantly, they will not pick up small particles like coated rods. In addition, they exhibit an impressive resilience, capable of extreme bending followed by a return to their original straightness.

The superiority of these carbon fiber rods drew attention from the US military during Operation Iraqi Freedom, when they were chosen to clean service rifles under the toughest conditions. Their durability and high performance rightly earned these cleaning rods the title of 'deluxe'.

The deluxe rods feature handles designed for optimal user comfort and maximum maneuverability.
