Core improvements in balance, controls, and internal components are also part of its enhanced solid operating mechanism. This is a dedicated hunting tool with larger, easy-to-operate critical functional controls, offering tangible advantages in cold and damp weather conditions.
In addition, the back-boration technology it employs ensures evenly distributed and dense optimum shot patterns, while the Invector-Plus choke tube system lodges for consistent patterns. The grip area has been entirely reconceptualised for better comfort and pointability, with a slimmer feel to it. The gripping panels located on both the grip and forearm prevent slipping, ensuring secure handling.
The vent rib barrel, equipped with TruGlo's long bead fiber-optic front sight and a hard chrome-plated chamber and bore, further elevates the SX4's list of superior features. Some other noteworthy elements include quadra-vent ports, drop-out trigger, an ambidextrous crossbolt safety, larger bolt handle and bolt release button, along with an Inflex technology recoil pad.
The Upland Field version of this model stands out with its 28" blued barrel, a receiver made from nickel-plated aluminium, and a stock crafted from Grade II/III Walnut.
