Historic Serbian Police SKS rifle. These fantastic SKS Rifles are semi-automatic and manufactured in the famous Zastava Plant. These particular rifles are chambered in the hard-hitting 7.62x39 caliber. This group of rifles is In original turn-In condition. The base price in the ad is based on our rifles is for NRA Surplus Good Condition. This rifle is not California Compliant.
We have a few in NRA Very Good Condition at a higher price and a few in NRA Fair Condition at a lower price. Both of these can be found and ordered under our Custom Options tab below.
Other conditions in the custom options are as follows:
Barreled Action Only: This option is a barreled action that contains the original barrel, action, and grenade launcher/sight. No bolt, spring, op-rod, trigger group, stock, or any other part.
Barreled Upper Action Complete : This option is a barreled action that contains the original barrel, action, grenade launcher/sight, bolt, op-rod, but does not include the trigger group or stock.
Gunsmith Specials: This option is for rifles that have cracked stocks, or are missing small parts integral to the function of the rifle. In other words, these rifles do not function as they sit. However, SKS parts are aplenty on the internet. These rifles make really fun projects, so do not let this deter you from considering, especially at this price.
Unlike our previous batch of Yugo SKS rifles, this batch of Serbian Police Rifles came to us from the storage vaults of the Serbian Police forces in original turn-in condition. What this means is that these rifles were issued to Serbian Police Forces, carried and used to varying degrees, and then came to us not as arsenal re-finished but in the same condition as they were handed back in. When it comes to surplus, everybody wants to know about the condition. While every man's judgment on the overall condition is subjective, I will try to be brutally honest about the state of these here. You can expect to see slight storage marks, signs of day to day carry and use, and some others will look like they have some fascinating history behind them. Typically the rifles were not exposed to wartime conditions or harsh environments. So overall, they are pretty nice, but I would expect some carry and storage wear, standard stock dents and dings, and I have even seen some bluing wear on rifles closer to the bottom of the spectrum. We do not promise a beauty queen on the standard grade rifle with this group.
With that being said, we have a small quantity of Fair condition code rifles that have a considerable amount of bluing wear and more significant cosmetic dings in the stocks. However, all are functional.
We also have a small selection of Very Good rifles that have 90% bluing left on them with some very minuscule cosmetic marks on the stocks if you wish to purchase.

All of these complete rifles have the heavy one-piece milled trigger groups and feature screw-in barrels with the heavy barrel lugs and milled bolt carrier/charging handles. They all also incorporate the grenade launcher sights, adjustable gas systems, and folding blade bayonets. We do offer a hand select option, which will guarantee you one of the more beautiful rifles cosmetically.
