The Chiappa 340.285 Rhino represents the most creative advancements in revolver technology seen for many years. This Rhino fires from the base of the cylinder rather than the summit, significantly mitigating muzzle rise and recoil by aligning the bore axis almost directly with your palm. Crafted from an aluminum alloy, the frame and barrel shroud give the Rhino its lightweight, easily portable characteristics. The unique Rhino feature is its completely enclosed firing mechanism with a "hammer" that serves as a snag-resistant cocking device and can fire in both single and double action. The status of the internal hammer is indicated by an easily discernible cocked indicator. Further innovation is seen in the revolver's hexagonal cylinder, which minimizes the width of the revolver. The package also includes a fiber optic front sight.
The specific model comes with a three-inch barrel, and a frame and barrel in OD green color matched with a black cylinder.
