The 39LSFC Leatherneck Series from Cold Steel combines two distinct and iconic blade styles that have been widely embraced by our military personnel. The Leatherneck-SF (Semper-Fi) boasts a finely honed saber ground clip point blade, while the Leatherneck Tanto is distinguished by our unique Cold Steel American Tanto blade with a robust reinforced tip for additional strength. Both blades are crafted from hardy D2 Tool Steel and coated with a non-reflective black powder for added durability.

Safety features of the Leathernecks include a steel double quillon guard to prevent the user's fingers from slipping towards the keen blade edge. Their handles are made of deeply checkered Kray-Ex that entirely encapsulates the extra-wide, full tang of the Leathernecks. Unlike other alternatives in the market that use cheap castings or plastic, the Leatherneck's handle is capped with a thick, machined steel butt cap that can double up as a hammer in emergency situations.
