Colt Defense Canadian Law Enforcement Turn-In AR-15 Carbine 5.56 Nato, 16" BBL, A2 Flash Hider, 1:7 Twist, L.E. or Military Only Marked Receiver

This batch of Police Issued Trade-In Colt Canada Law Enforcement Carbines were received in Good to Very Good, Used condition. These rifles have the gray (almost parkerized) finish found on earlier Colt rifles. They are in really good condition overall but may have some visible marks from handling and storage. Most of the rifles will have a rack number marked on them somewhere on the rifle, either on the side of the receiver or on the stock. Some may have an officer's name or a duty location marked on the stock as well. All of these rifles have "CC" marked Colt Canada cold hammer-forged barrels, and all the uppers we have examined are marked with the Cerro or Anchor Harvey forge marking and the Diemaco insignia. Lower receivers are marked "Made in Canada" and "For Military/Government/Law Enforcement/Export Use Only." The serial #'s all begin with the LE ( Law Enforcement ) prefix as well. 

Most of the rifles are equipped with Magpul handguards, though some have A2 plastic clamshell handguards and these can be specifically chosen while supplies last through our custom options tab.  All the rifles have typical A2-style pistol grips and 4-position stocks. All come with night-sight-front sights, but we cannot guarantee the current performance or life of the tritium insert. Most of the rifles have removable carry handles with integrated rear sights but we did receive one without the carry handle and rather than selling it with an aftermarket carry handle, we are simply selling it under the custom options tab at a lower price. Each rifle will come with one 30-round Magpul Pmag, Some of the rifles came to us and are available with Insight Technologies L3 flashlights with pressure pad switches and these are available at a slightly higher price under the custom options tab as well. As you can see in the images many of the rifles came with vertical foregrips attached and when that was the case we left them there, but other rifles did not come with the vertical grip. There is about a 50/50 chance of receiving a rifle with a verticle foregrip but this is strictly luck of the draw and we do not make any guarantees as to receiving a vertical grip with the rifle. The rifles may or may not include some other accessories, which will vary depending on how it was returned by the officer to who it was issued. In other words, if it came to us with the rifle, we left it with the rifle. These additions may include a sling, sling mount, rail segments on the handguard, etc. However, we do not guarantee anything additional except as listed as all rifles do not have them and inclusion of any of these elements is strictly luck of the draw. These rifles saw service with U.S. police departments and will show a lot of character, and any of them are a perfect addition to your collection.
