Facebook especially, make sure you guys are liking us on Facebook because we're uploading videos there every day. Soon we'll have even our old videos uploaded to Facebook. Ah man. 300 days of continuous uploads, all because of you guys. Appreciate it. And now, let's mag dump an M4. There goes the target and it's a Panzer M4.

The Panzer Arms M4

So, from my understanding, Benelli's patent on the M4 and the A.R.G.O. gas system, the auto-regulating gas operating system that the Benelli M4 uses, that patent is expired. And Panzer has decided to go ahead and make their own M4 clone. And I, for one, am super stoked about it. And guys, I'm Clint with Classic Firearms, out here today at Take Aim Training and Range and that's what we've got, the Panzer M4. Out of Turkey. Making a Benelli M4 clone, taking your three-inch slugs if you want them, three-inch Magnum shells, whatever you want to shoot through this guy you can. And as far as I can tell, this is through-and-through a Benelli clone. I have disassembled this guy. I myself am issued a Benelli M4 in the Marine reserves. And yes, I am just a P.O.G. reservists for all of you keyboard warriors out there. But anyway, this is pretty close to what I'm issued, other than it not being a Benelli. And also too, I think we've got seven round capacity in ours, but anyway, five rounds here and this guy is what your capacity is. But like I said, after breaking it down and taking a look, it looks like it'll take all of your Benelli accessories. So if you wanted to throw on that tactical stock, it looks like you can, for ends, things like that, which is pretty sweet. Now, the Benelli M4 is actually Benelli's first gas operated shotgun. Everything else they had up until then, I mean the M1, two, and three, the Super 90s and all that were all inertia driven, which is a very cool system. But the gas operated system's going to be a little bit more reliable for you especially in those tough conditions that the Marines want their shotguns functioning in.

How It Shoots

All right. Now, before we go too much further, do you guys know something about ghost loading? A while back we actually had some surplus Benelli M1 come in and I showed you guys what ghost loading was. And I'm here to do that today. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and load up five in the tube, just like you would any other shotgun, right? One and two. And what I'm shooting today guys is some double ought buck from Sterling and it's some good stuff. All right. So that should be five for us there. There we go. And just making sure. All right. So that's five. So what is ghost loading? Before you hit any shell drop or anything like that on here what you're going to do, you're going to pull the bolt back just enough before it actuates anything, drop a shell in here. All right. Pull it back, like I said, just enough until I can get it right where I want it. And then the bolt is going to sit and rest right over that shell that I just put in there. Then I'm going to take another shell and just drop it into the chamber. Now I've got five in the tube plus two, which is pretty sweet. So let's go ahead and let's shoot it some more how about it? What do you know? Seven rounds. Now what's cool about the Auto-Regulated Gas Operating system or A.R.G.O. gas system that Benelli patented is the fact that, like I said, it's gas operated, which is really cool, but it was solely made for the M4 shotgun. All right. So underneath the four end here there's actually two pistons that make contact with the bolt carrier group and these pistons are, it's a short stroke piston system that just hits the bolt, bolt carrier, and then it just cycles it like you would see on any short stroke system. And it's pretty fricking fun. And it also feels great to shoot as well. All right. Oh yes. So why did the Marine Corps adopt the Benelli M4 to begin with? Well first off, what we needed, or at least for my MOS, I'm an ammunition technician or a 2311, whatever you guys want to call us here. At least for us, what we needed is something that didn't have quite the penetration capabilities or power that like the M4, M16 had because well, we don't want our ammo cans and crates to get completely destroyed in case we needed to discharge our firearm within the wire, right? We needed something that didn't have that penetration capability. So some shotgun shells was exactly what we needed and continue what we're using today. That thing feels great. So your basic controls on the Panzer M4, just like the Benelli M4. You've got your charging lever here, your charging handle. You've got your bolt release right up here. Your safety. And then your action release here that'll drop a shell for you, that button there. All right. And as you guys can tell too it does feature a last round bolt hold open. So let's go ahead and show that off one more time. Man that thing is fun to shoot quick. And there's that last round ball hold open. And as you saw before too, if you are needing to hurry up and reload or just throw one in there, you can hit your bolt release and then engage.

Ergonomics

Now what's cool about this guy too is the fact that it does have a picatinny rail on it. So if you wanted to, you could throw an optic, a red dot, holographic, whatever. The choice is up to you guys whatever you want to do on here you can. You've also got a sling swivel right up front. Nice. Right on the magazine tube. And then you've got your sling attachment right back here. Also too nice stock that they have on here. As you can tell, it's nothing fancy, but it does have a nice thick recoil pad, which is nice and comfortable, ergonomic. Ergonomics on the grip. Feel really good. It's kind of like that rubber overmold here. And it feels very good all around. Trigger guard is about a moderate size, but from my experience and just a little bit of shooting out here today, if I did need to throw on some gloves, I don't feel like I'd be getting, I guess you could say, withheld when it comes to actually actuating the controls and things like that. The safety does have that larger triangle type safety right off here to the right-hand side. So it is easy to actuate and fill. But of course there are different safety's out there if you wanted to replace them, even your bolt releases, all sorts of things out there, if that's what you want. Right? But also too the A.R,G.O. system is claimed to be self-cleaning and that's because the gas port or the gas block, if that's what you want to say, is receiving the gases that actuate the pistons right up front here. So you'd think hotter the gases and the cleaner gases are right up front and that's kind of what gives it that self-cleaning name or at least it shoots pretty clean. I can tell you right now, the M4's they're not self-cleaning. We break them down and clean them every time. And you still get a little bit of carbon up in there, but that's okay. No big deal. And it's a 12 gauge semi-auto based off of a Benelli design. It's going to shoot and function just fine, no matter what. Sorry for the interruption guys. They're getting some work done out here. Can't blame them. We're trying to work, they're trying to work, make sense. But anyway. I was in the process of making ready the Panzer M4 one more time. Let's be honest. It probably won't be one more time because this thing is fun to shoot. It feels good to shoot the A.R.G.O. system and it feels great. It's just all around sweet. Let's get this going. So you guys might be able to tell, there is obviously a little recoil. I am shooting, again, some double ought buck through this guy and it doesn't feel bad though. Not at all. So a little bit of muzzle rise. You can probably see that beautiful little blast out there, but they also do send with this guy, as I'm looking down at the muzzle and the choke here, they do send a couple of different choked tubes for you and also a wrench. So if you wanted to switch it out to whatever type of spread you're looking for, you can. It even comes with some earplugs. If you need them, if you're getting one day at your range, it comes in the case with it. So pretty cool. Oh man. That just feels way too good. And of course, again, drop that in there, hit that release, right back at it. Oh yes. Well my Target's down now. Oh, well. Anyway. So like I said too this guy, as I broke it down, it breaks down just like the Benelli M4. Move your magazine tube here, or the cap, barrel comes out, and everything just kind of starts to fall to pieces. And the bolt and everything, you just simply pull the charging lever out here, or the charging handle, whatever you guys want to call it. It pulls right out and then the whole bolt assembly and everything just falls right out. Makes for very easy maintenance, but it's a low maintenance shotgun to begin with. Now I'm going to load it up. Now I'll say one more time here and just dump it as fast as I can because well, it's in the name, bagged up Morgan over here. And it's also, like I said, just super fun to do and let's do that ghost load trick one more time. I'll show you guys just in case you're curious on how that works one more time. Again, get the bolt coming back just a little bit, just enough for you to fit a shell in there. And then you just push that guy all the way in. There you go. You can see where the bolt head is sitting over the brass. Perfect. And then you just put in your next shell, let it go, and you're ready to rock and roll. Let's just do this real quick here. Oh, I had one more. There we go. Whoops. Oh man. But yes, absolutely a great shotgun. Talk about sweetness. So I think after shooting it a little bit more maybe we'll start to see a break in some. I'm noticing it's already getting a little bit easier to feed some of the shells. I noticed initially I was getting kind of caught up a little bit, but now they're getting a lot easier to feed. So I'm happy to see that. And that's a new gun. New guns are going to have every now and then they might be a little stiff or whatever else and of course, with wear, with training, with shooting them as they're supposed to be, things just get easier, right? So again, we'll go ahead. Drop that shell in there, charge it, and let's do it one more time.

Panzer Arms M2

Roundoff

Oh yeah. She's clear. Talk about a beauty. And of course the fact that it's based off the M4 design. Super happy about that. Talk about beautiful. Even got M4 right above the bolt release there. There guys go, Panzer arms M4. Now of course, if you don't know Panzer, they're out of Turkey, they make the AR 12, they make the BP 12, which is an AR reminiscent Bullpup 12 gauge. And I say reminiscent because it's mostly just the controls that feel kind of familiar to like an AR, but they're a lot of fun. They're compact designs being a Bullpup. It's sweet guys. So again, the Panzer M4, if you guys are looking for a new shotgun to add to your collection definitely check this guy out. I think you'll be pretty impressed with it. I know I am or else we wouldn't be out here filming on it. Anyway. Talk about impressive. You know what's really impressive is the fact that, as I mentioned earlier, we are in our 300th consecutive daily upload for videos. That is a lot of work, believe it or not.
