Modern Warfare 2 (2022) packs a lot into its roughly 6.5-hour campaign, but where the game really shines is competitive online multiplayer. Players can completely customize their loadouts with a wide variety of firearms and throwables, from no-scope snipers to suppressed PDWs.
While these choices often come down to personal preference, some guns are decidedly better than others. Here’s our list of the top 10 guns from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

No Call Of Duty would be complete without the iconic HK MP5 submachine gun (known simply as the Lachmann Sub in-game). Like it’s real-life counterpart, the Lachmann Sub sees widespread use as it is one of the most dependable platforms available to players.
The perfect choice for the long-range snipers or those roguish run-n-gun no-scope thrillseekers, The SP-R 208 is inspired by the Bergara B14 - a proven and reliable precision shooting platform. Just don’t get caught camping!

The Magnum Research Desert Eagle chambered in .50 AE may not be the most practical handgun, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun to mix into a loadout. It’s a hard-hitting pistol with phenomenal damage - and you just can’t beat that cool factor.
