Why Is The Gallant Battle Worn Special?

Chances are if you played Call Of Duty: Black Ops growing up, you're familiar with the Israeli Galil - the iconic AK-style rifle features prominently in the game's campaigin and multiplayer modes. The rifle's balance of maneuverability and firepower made it an instant favorite with players, reflecting the platform's real-life utility.

Of course, the real piece de resistance is the original wood handguard that adorns the Battle Worn. Many of these handguards had dents or scratches when they were turned in, so James River Armory opted to leave them as-is while ensuring all other parts retained at least 80% of their original finish.

The end result is a newly assembled rifle that embodies the character and spirit of the original Galil. And in many ways, the Gallant Battle Worn is a piece of firearms history as much as it is a functional firearm.
