The Spyderco C101GP2 Manix2 boasts a patented Ball Bearing Lock by Spyderco. This unique feature comprises a hardened, free-floating ball bearing nestled within a custom-designed, hi-tech polymer cage. Its round shape permits the lock to adjust itself over a wide surface, ensuring solid, dependable locking action. The Ball Bearing Lock, which has improved over time, provides efficiency and secure, adaptable handling, even under demanding conditions.
The knife's supreme ergonomic design is one of its kind. The blade is made from Crucible CPM S30V, and is flat-ground featuring an assertive thumb serration (jimping) above a generous 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. But jimping goes beyond that; full steel liners extend beyond the G-10 handle scales, creating scalloped areas around the handle's perimeter.
The liners serve a dual purpose by adding firmness and light strength to the handle. A three-screw clip is suitable for both left and right-hand use and is positioned for comfort and deep pocket carry. Moreover, the knife comes equipped with a large lanyard pipe which can accommodate various types of cords or thongs for added convenience.
