The Winchester 535776228, also known as the Winchester XPR, is an innovative rifle designed to satisfy the performance standards of the modern hunter. It is a robust, straightforward hunting tool that promises to provide sustenance for many upcoming years. The XPR bolt-action rifle, filled with various features, symbolizes the long-lasting quality the industry expects from Winchester Repeating Arms.
At the core of every XPR rifle lies Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. Each M.O.A trigger's internal components and housing are composed of polished and hardened carbon steel. A blued finish enhances the durability and resistance to corrosion. An accessible two-position safety suitable for the thumb of your firing hand amplifies its user-friendly design. The safety button is situated right before the bolt release button, enabling the release of unfired cartridges even when the safety is on. The cocking indicator, located on the bolt shroud, signifies the rifle's cocked or uncocked status visually and tactically.
The sturdy XPR bolt, made from chromoly steel barstock, goes through a hardening process during heat-treatment. Its unique design features three frontal locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift, ensuring improved scope clearance when in operation. A nickel Teflon coating adds to its smooth functioning and offers additional protection from corrosion.
An all-in-one trigger guard and magazine frame boast a wide-opening guard suitable for gloved hands. The chromoly steel barrel of the XPR rifle undergoes precise button-rifling, allowing it to achieve exceptional accuracy with all bullet weights and types. The barrel is completely free-floating, which helps avoid unwanted pressure points that could potentially affect accuracy. The XPR also features a drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver, synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a single stack box magazine that can be detached with ease.
