. I want to be the first to set the record straight. As the phrase binary trigger becomes more familiar to all of us in the firearms community, that phrase is not a description of all rapid-fire triggers, it is the title used by Franklin Armory for their specific rapid-fire trigger system. FosTecH is proud to incorporate some of Franklin Armory technologies into its Echo Trigger Systems. In 2010, Peter Harbraker from Fairbanks Alaska brought the idea to FosTecH. Speaking of the ECHO TRIGGER-GEN II, this thing is awesome! If you already have an AR, this is without a doubt, the best upgrade that you can buy for your rifle. The installation of this trigger will give your AR new life and a new function. If you are trigger shopping for a new build, this trigger will offer a unique feature that will set your build apart from other AR builds. I usually write about home or personal defense qualities of firearms and FosTecH has all of that, but I have to tell you, this trigger is fun at the range! And the term fun is an understatement. This trigger system is flippin' exhilarating! Naysayers who think that this trigger should be illegal are out of luck, because it is perfectly legal. This trigger has a patented design that has gained approval from ATF. So, what's all of the fuss about? Firing your AR with this trigger assembly gives the sensation of firing a fully automatic firearm. The Echo Trigger installation will not make your firearm a machine gun. Though it will increase your rate of fire by doubling the function of the trigger. To be more specific, one round is fired per function of the trigger, one on the pull and one on release. This is only possible between a small window of time where the pull and release will not catch on the sear. There is a patented secondary disconnect included in the assembly, which is what makes the trigger legal according to ATF. The secondary disconnect is independent of the hammer and disconnect. Trigger Lock technology is also implemented in the manufacturing of the trigger system. The trigger lock makes your trigger function very reliable. The Echo Trigger
has three trigger selections; safe, semi-automatic, and Echo Mode. When in Echo Mode, you will send one round downrange with each function of the trigger, two rounds per complete pull and release. This process results in rapid firing and can effectively double your fire rate and increase your two round shot groups. The shooter can move the fire selector to safe and the second round will not fire when the trigger is released. The Echo Trigger assembly is packed full of innovative technology and careful craftsmanship. While the original Echo Trigger required a separate bolt to function, the Gen. II trigger will work in any AR-15 rifle that uses a full auto bolt carrier. Most AR's have this bolt carrier. If you are not sure if you have a semi or full auto bolt, check out this link
for help. The only complaints that I could find about the Echo Trigger Gen. II are the installation and the cost. FosTecH heard you loud and clear and engineered the ECHO SPORT TRIGGER for those concerned about cost. Same functionality but at a lower cost. We here at Classic can help out with both!
