The Lucansky Stinger 9 immediately caught our eye as it was designed by the inventor of one of our favorite firearms, the CZ Scorpion. This PCC is pushing the envelope in a number of ways, most notably its delayed matter operating system and price tag of under $1,000.
What's cooler than the H&K MP7? How about a battle-proven MP7 clone that is chambered in 9mm and has seen extensive use on the Ukrainian front. The FORT-230 is an incredible fully-ambidextrous submachine gun platform packed full off features, and a semi-auto variant might even be coming to the U.S. at some point in the future. Opos Arms just unveiled their brand-new Venator pistol, a technologically advanced Austrian handgun with a mechanical locking system and internal hammer. Each Venator features a hand-fitted steel frame and slide, as well as an incredibly low bore axis. Plus, this futuristic pistol is available with an optional electronic vision module, which allows the user to track round count, hammer status, etc. on the fly.
Continuing our IWA 2025 coverage, Kaya stops by the Akdas booth for a closer look at their new MCX-inspired .300 Blackout PDW. This firearm is fully ambidextrous and has a Picatinny adapter at the rear of the receiver for attaching a stock or pistol brace, so you can run it in a pistol configuration or convert it into an SBR. The all-new Sig Sauer SG563 is an updated 550-series rifle that accepts MCX parts and accessories, combining the best of both lines. While there isn't a concrete date set yet, a pistol configuration could be coming to the U.S. in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on this awesome platform!
