January 20, 2020, is the day you've all been waiting for! It's Glock's newest firearm release. Glock is already calling the new Glock 44
"Legendary" and it isn't even for sale yet! The new Glock is a .22LR caliber. You read that right, a .22! Since Glock's inception in 1963, they have never produced a .22LR. This model release will be a first for Glock, and you can bet your last dollar it is going to be a popular, fast selling addition to the Glock lineup.

AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PISTOL

Glock has finally manufactured a pistol that is comfortable for anyone to shoot. Male or female, young or old, big or small, strong or light-handed, beginner or advanced, you name it, the new Glock 44 was made with everyone in mind. Firearms trainers are very excited about the new release, and it has already become a favorite for them for several reasons. This pistol is an adequate training pistol for beginner, intermediate, or advanced shooters. The Glock 44 is the same size as the popular Glock 19, making the transition to a G19 seamless. For beginners, the light weight and low recoil build confidence on the firing line. For advanced shooters, it's an accurate plinking gun, and simply a fun gun to shoot. Plinking with the G44 allows you to save money on ammo, as it's cheaper to shoot than the Glock 19.

ABOUT THE GLOCK 44

Keeping with the spirit of being all-inclusive, the purchase of a new Glock 44 comes with interchangeable backstraps that you can choose from to make your new gun fit comfortably. A comfortable and secure fit will give you more control. The Glock 44 comes with two load-assist, ten-round magazines. The trigger is the same as a Glock 19, as are the sights, but with an adjustable rear sight. The Glock 44 fits into the same holsters as Glock 19s do, and the new model comes standard with the Glock Marksman Barrel. If you prefer a threaded barrel, a barrel kit will also be available on January 20, 2020, for around $150.00. The Glock 44 weighs approximately 1b. fully loaded, while a Glock 19 weighs a little under 2lbs.

AMMUNITION

A good bit of the weight difference between the Glock 44 and Glock 19 comes in part by the hybrid polymer steel slide. A lighter weight is necessary so that the blowback action of a .22LR has enough power to cycle through. Glock recommends that you test fire several fully loaded magazines using your preferred ammunition to assure optimal performance. Glock recognizes that some .22LR ammunition may not produce sufficient energy to fully cycle the slide. Be sure to use good ammunition to maximize the Glock 44's performance.

SUMMED UP

The Glock 44 is an accurate plinking and training gun. It is fun to shoot, with little to no recoil. It's exciting to have this .22LR caliber presented in the classic and popular Glock 19 package!
