The Barrett M107A1 .50 BMG is widely considered to be the definitive anti-material rifle. Barrett's M107A1 is the culmination of over 35 years of research and development, driven by feedback from end users with real-world experience behind the trigger. It is simultaneously a modernization of the original M82 (adopted by the U.S. Army as the M107) and a revolutionary improvement over the original.
After ending production of the M107, Barrett unveiled the M107A1 as its replacement. This updated variant utilizes lighter yet stronger titanium construction, a suppressor-optimized Nickel Teflon-coated bolt, and a cylindrical muzzle brake that is compatible with Barrett's .50 BMG suppressor.
Other notable features include a 29" fluted barrel, thermal cheek rest, rear monopod, and bipod. As a result of these enhancements, the M107A1 is a more versatile (and more manageable) platform than its predecessors. It doesn't get much better than that... right?
Originally manufactured to fulfill a military contract, the extremely limited Barrett M107A1 International Military Contract Rifle package boasts even more upgrades, including a Leupold Mark 5 HD 5-25x scope mounted from the factory. Each of these rifles ships with two 10-round magazines, a titanium bipod, monopod, and a cleaning kit.
Each Barrett M107A1 rifle system is packaged with a certificate of authenticity, making this variant even more collectable. And of course, the rifle ships in a hard shell Pelican 1750 case with custom foam inserts, providing an extra layer of protection for your rifle while in transit.
