Why
The Marine Corps has no official religion, but if it did, it would be weapon's maintenance, aka cleaning your gun. As a Machine Gunner, my post field op cleaning involved my M240, my M16A4, and my M9 pistol. I had my hands full. When you begin seriously using a weapon, be it high-quality training, competition, or operational use, you begin to understand the importance of keeping your firearms clean. There are three big reasons why cleaning your gun is essential.

A
Design creativity in a firearm never ceases to amaze. Weapons of the 2nd World War were borne more out of necessity and pushed quickly into full production mode. Historians and collectors quickly forgot most of these firearms, while others have staying power, and there is never enough supply. From first glance, the Polish PPS-43C 9mm Pistol Semi-Auto available here is a unique design that has delighted collectors for over a century.

No other firearm in the world can boast the credentials of the Mosin-Nagant M91/30. Thirty-seven million were built from 1891 to 1965, and the weapon is still in use today. The bolt action Mosin is a five-shot design that has seen hundreds of world conflicts. Millions of the rifles were produced and used in World War II by the largest mobilized army in history.

Why
"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?" The immortal words of Clint Eastwood will always be brought up when people start talking about revolvers.

Political turmoil and back-stabbing permeated the state. The Kingdom Of Italy shifted from one battlefield to another. In 1890, World War I was a scant 25 years in the not too distant future. Salvatore Carcano pioneered the M1981 Carcano Cavalry Carbine Bolt-Action Rifle. Production of this remarkable example of World history began in 1891 and ended in 1938.

What
Cosmoline is a petroleum-based, grease-like rust inhibitor, that is typically used on firearms that are going into long term storage. You may find that some firearms have been brushed with a thin coating of the substance, while others may have been completely submerged leaving a thick, messy coating.

If you are new to AR-15's, or are considering buying a higher capacity magazine for the first time, we have some very cool offerings. The purpose of high capacity magazines is to reduce the time it takes to reload, and increase the time engaging the target.

AR-15
AR-15s are popular for many reasons. Specifically, target and range shooting, long-range shooting, home defense, and lately a surge in popularity as a hunting rifle. They are lightweight, accept accessories easily, are adaptable, and most importantly, they are modular.

Vertical
Accuracy with the AR-15 relies heavily on stability at the two grip points. The rear pistol grip gives shooters a natural approach to pull back the firearm and seat the rifle into their shoulder. Add a foregrip to the platform, and the shooter has a much improved forward point of contact.

What
Subsonic ammunition is specifically manufactured, or loaded, to not break the sound barrier. This ammunition's general purpose is to avoid creating a sonic boom, or in ammunition terms, a sonic crack. Subsonic ammunition is designed for the bullet to maintain a speed that does not create that sonic crack. A bullet traveling below the speed of sound simply doesn't make that sound. Any round that propels the bullet at a velocity below the sound barrier is subsonic ammunition.
