Not content with simply recreating the wheel, LFA also engineered a number of enhancements during the Apollo 11's development cycle. The ergonomic 4140 steel grip frame sports an aggressive texturing for improved retention (even while wearing gloves) and a unique recoil management system dramatically reduces muzzle flip.
This pistol features a bushing-less match grade bull barrel and a heat treated stainless steel guide rod, providing superior accuracy and reliability. Moreover, every Apollo 11 is hand fitted to guarantee smooth operation with a tight lockup. The trigger has a smooth, consistent 3.5lb pull, allowing for rapid and precise follow-up shots.
Additionally, the Apollo 11 is extremely customizable. Each slide includes an RMSc optics cut for mounting your preferred red dot directly to this pistol without the need for an adapter plate. A rugged Picatinny accessory rail is ready to accept your favorite weapon-mounted light or laser, and the ambidextrous grip safety is easy to use for both right and left-handed shooters.
