Classic Insights - General

Hey everybody, Clint here with Classic Firearms coming at y'all today with another brand highlight or more of a manufacturer highlight of Ruger. Yes, the same Ruger arms Sturm Ruger that makes pretty popular firearms like the 1022, mini 30, and mini 14.

Hey everybody, Clint here with Classic Firearms out here today at Take Aim Training and Range. And today's video is all about reloads because you know, I'm still in the Marines and I still see a lot of guys out at the rifle range, especially when it comes to table two, where you actually have to do kind of a speed reload, drop to a knee, reload, things like that.

The AR-15 is a simple rifle. Simple enough that people with zero training and minimal tools can use Youtube to build their very own rifle. On firearms rarely is a part of the gun up for debate when it comes to necessity. With AR-15s though, it seems like everything is up for debate. What's the right BCG? What's the best handguard? What about the sights? Today, we are asking, what about the dust cover?

Guys, we're here today to talk about stocks, like you said in the intro. And no, I'm not talking about those financial concerns that you may or may not have.

Never did I think I would make a fairytale reference in an article about handguns, but it seems applicable in this instance. Y'all know the story....Goldilocks compromised the Bears home, she tried out everything in the house, the soup was too hot or too cold

The .338 Lapua Magnum is a long-range cartridge developed in the 1980s for military snipers. Originally designed by Research Armament Industries(RAI), the cartridge was made from the big game .416 Rigby case and necked down to accept a 250 grain .338" diameter bullet.

A pretty common question that comes up when folks are looking to purchase a new firearm is "I have small hands, what would be the best handgun for me?" Well, this is a subject that I am personally very experienced with, and while I will give you a few of my favorites, my answer to that question is that it is not a specific make, model, manufacturer, or even caliber that I would recommend.

Are you ready for a quick English language lesson? Yeah, nope, me either (or is it neither?).

Look, I completely understand why someone doesn't want a inexpensive upper. I have a friend who challenged himself to build an AR-15 for under $500.00. He was actually able to do it!

The stock trigger in your AR type rifle probably requires between 5.5-8.5 pounds of force. Upgrading to a lighter trigger can improve accuracy for new and experienced shooters alike. Aftermarket triggers are becoming more and more popular but can sometimes be hard to choose between.
